Overview
The Iron Creek Branding Package was developed for Iron Creek Lake Campground and Store, located in the Black Hills of South Dakota. This project was not created in affiliation with the business but was informed by personal experience visiting the lake, which is one of my favorite places to spend time in the summer when I’m home. The goal was to create a cohesive visual identity that reflects the natural beauty and relaxed atmosphere of the lake environment.
Tools Used
All core brand elements were created in Adobe Illustrator, including the logo, business card, letterhead, and event flyer. Adobe Photoshop was then used to produce realistic mockups of the final printed materials.
Objective
The primary objective of this project was to strengthen the campground and store’s visual identity through a unified design system. The visual direction draws inspiration from the surrounding landscape, emphasizing outdoor adventure, simplicity, and approachability. Careful attention was given to typography, color palette, and layout to ensure consistency across all assets.
The final branding package presents a clear and recognizable aesthetic that could be applied across future marketing materials. This project is a demonstration of thoughtful brand strategy while remaining authentic to the character of a lakeside campground experience.
