LATC Graphic Design Catalog

Overview This Graphic Design Catalog was created to promote Lake Area Technical College’s Graphic Design & Digital Communications program. The catalog is designed as a resource for prospective students to learn about the program’s structure, outcomes, and real-world opportunities. It includes program highlights, statistics, and potential career pathways. Throughout the design process, I ensure all elements adhered to established brand standards, including consistent use of fonts, color palettes, imagery, and visual style. Following these standards helped reinforce the program’s identity and ensured that the catalog maintained visual coherence with LATC’s promotional materials. Tools Used The layout and content of the catalog were developed using Adobe InDesign. InDesign allowed me to establish a structured layout, apply unified character styles, and manage the flow of visual information across each page. Certain graphic elements, such as the icons on the back cover, were created in Adobe Illustrator. Objective The primary objective of this project was to communicate the value and opportunities of the Graphic Design & Digital Communications program at LATC, helping readers understand what students will learn, the potential careers the program prepares them for, and the experiences of former students. By combining strategic design with informative content, the catalog aims to encourage students to apply for this program.

Iron Creek Branding Package

Overview The Iron Creek Branding Package was developed for Iron Creek Lake Campground and Store, located in the Black Hills of South Dakota. This project was not created in affiliation with the business but was informed by personal experience visiting the lake, which is one of my favorite places to spend time in the summer when I’m home. The goal was to create a cohesive visual identity that reflects the natural beauty and relaxed atmosphere of the lake environment. Tools Used All core brand elements were created in Adobe Illustrator, including the logo, business card, letterhead, and event flyer. Adobe Photoshop was then used to produce realistic mockups of the final printed materials. Objective The primary objective of this project was to strengthen the campground and store’s visual identity through a unified design system. The visual direction draws inspiration from the surrounding landscape, emphasizing outdoor adventure, simplicity, and approachability. Careful attention was given to typography, color palette, and layout to ensure consistency across all assets. The final branding package presents a clear and recognizable aesthetic that could be applied across future marketing materials. This project is a demonstration of thoughtful brand strategy while remaining authentic to the character of a lakeside campground experience.

Scooters Coffee animation

Christmas at Scooters | Rotoscoped Spec Ad

Titled Christmas at Scooters, this project is a rotoscoped spec advertisement promoting Scooters Coffee holiday flavors. Created using Adobe Premier and Adobe Animate, the goal was to make a dynamic, hand-drawn ad that captures the spirit of the brand. This project allowed me to show my illustration skills while developing a visually engaging and unique promotional piece.

The Daily Blend | Branding & Website

Overview The Daily Blend is a brand I developed from the ground up, including the brand mission, visual identity, and overall creative direction. The brand is an organic coffee and matcha company centered on high-quality products, fun flavors, and health-conscious ingredients. Every design decision was made to support a fresh, approachable brand experience. Tools Used Building on this foundation, I designed a cohesive eCommerce website that reflects the brand’s values and visual style. Adobe Illustrator was used to create custom graphics, while Wix was used to design and develop the website. Product packaging mockups were created in Adobe Photoshop to further extend the brand across physical touchpoints. Objective The objective of this project was to establish a strong brand identity and a dynamic, user-friendly website. All elements encourage customers to engage with the brand and purchase products. The final result is a fully responsive website with a clear and consistent visual identity. Website Preview The Daily Blend’s website is modern and product-focused with a touch of fun. Clean layouts and intentional details help balance functionality with personality. In the homepage snapshot, intentional visuals meet thoughtful design to showcase what The Daily Blend offers its customers. The hero section and featured products are crafted to guide the user naturally through the site, reinforcing both aesthetic style and functional flow. The About page layout was designed to give customers more insight into The Daily Blend, conveying the brand’s backstory and intent.

The Daily Blend Christmas Campaign | Cozy Starts Here

Overview The Daily Blend’s Cozy Starts Here social media campaign was created to promote the brand’s holiday flavors and seasonal promotions. The Christmas campaign was meant to capture the warmth and comfort associated with the winter season. At the same time, it maintains the approachable tone of The Daily Blend. Overall, the visuals help position the brand as a cozy, feel-good part of a customers’ daily routines. Tools Used Adobe Illustrator was used to design cohesive social media graphics for the campaign. This allowed for strong alignment in color, typography, and layout across all points. In addition, Adobe Photoshop was used to create product mockups for the limited-edition holiday flavors, which are also featured on the website. Objective The objective of this project was to develop festive, Christmas-themed content that encourages audience engagement. Another key goal was to drive interest in seasonal promotions and increase holiday purchases. As a result, the final campaign is visually consistent and on-brand. It aligns with the tone and style of The Daily Blend’s eCommerce website while enhancing seasonal marketing efforts. Christmas products from this campaign can be viewed here:
